Justice 4 All

4 in stock

The plea came in to our staff herbalist: "Can you make something for my activist friends? They are burnt out physically, emotionally, and mentally from all that's been happening." Our answer is this tonic. Not only will it restore body, mind and spirit with its blend of nutritives, adaptogens, and tonic herbs- but we want it to also fortify our communities fighting the good fight, too.

As a company, Haven Herbs believes in justice and equality. And our nation has not been just or given equal treatment to people of color or indigenous folks (among others, but let's focus a bit, shall we?) for quite some time.

So proceeds from the sale of this product will go directly to BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color) groups that are fighting police terror in their communities. Not aware of this problem? Here is one article outlining what we deal with here in Columbus.

Currently, we have chosen the Columbus Freedom Coalition (our local choice) and  Campaign Zero (our national one) to be the recipients of proceeds. (We may choose to change recipients in the future- but these are the recipients for now.)

This tincture comes four ounce amber dropper bottles, about 30 doses per ounce.

Ingredients (locally sourced whenever possible):

Alcohol (GF), Water, Organic Reishi, Organic Ashwaganda, Organic Tulsi, Organic Rose, Organic Panax Ginseng, Organic Rhodiola, Organic Milky Oat Tops, and Organic Nettles.

How to Use:

This tincture is a tonic, meaning you keep it in your system (minimum doses AM/PM daily) for a longer period of time to help rebalance and strengthen systems. Standard starting dose for an adult over 100# is a dropperful (defined as what comes up into the vial when you squeeze the bulb, about halfway) twice daily (AM/PM). Know that if you have a bigger body mass or faster metabolism than the average bear, you may want a bigger or more frequent dose.

Those avoiding alcohol can let it evaporate in a cup of steaming tea.

How to Use Herbal Supplements (Generally Speaking)

Herbal remedies, supplements, and tonics are fundamentally different from pharmaceuticals (and we like it that way). They are designed to restore your body and its systems to homeostasis gently- working with your body.

We post basic dosage guidelines, but keep in mind if you have more body mass or a faster metabolism than the average bear, you may need to take a larger dose than indicated. If there are hard-and-fast limitations on how often you can take the product, it will be listed on the package. Most can be used up to six times daily without problems (but we doubt that you would need to do that).

Remember, there are no “magic bullets” in life, and any product (herbal, pharmaceutical, or otherwise) claiming 100% success without knowing you, your constitution, and your lifestyle is lying and trying to get into your wallet. Often, herbalists (and MDs) need to try several products before we find the one that works for your unique biochemistry.

Feel free to email us if the product didn’t quite do the job, we can recommend another that could do the trick. We are blessed with many plants that have the same action in the body- and often it’s just a matter of finding the right one for you.
